Overview

Evexomostat + eribulin is a combination therapeutic regimen being developed by SynDevRx for the treatment of insulin-resistant, metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC). Evexomostat (formerly SDX-7320) is a small molecule inhibitor of Methionine Aminopeptidase 2 (MetAP2). MetAP2 inhibition is intended to address the metabolic drivers of cancer, such as hyperinsulinemia and chronic inflammation, which are often associated with poor prognosis and resistance to chemotherapy. Eribulin (Halaven) is a non-taxane microtubule dynamics inhibitor that induces cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase. The combination is currently being evaluated in the Phase 2 Aretha-1 study, targeting patients whose tumors may be driven by metabolic dysfunction.
