Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Evexomostat + TBA is a combination therapy in development by SynDevRx, featuring the small molecule evexomostat (SDX-7320) paired with an undisclosed therapeutic agent. Evexomostat is a potent inhibitor of Methionine Aminopeptidase 2 (MetAP2), an enzyme involved in protein processing that plays a critical role in metabolic regulation, angiogenesis, and tumor growth. By inhibiting MetAP2, evexomostat aims to address the metabolic complications often associated with cancer and its treatment, such as insulin resistance and obesity, while also exerting direct anti-tumor and anti-fibrotic effects. The combination program is currently in Phase 2 clinical development for the treatment of prostate cancer, colorectal cancer, and interstitial lung disease.
