Overview
EyePromise DVS + EyePromise EZTears is a combination nutraceutical regimen developed by ZeaVision to address the dual concerns of diabetic eye disease and ocular surface irritation. EyePromise DVS (Diabetic Vision Support) is specifically formulated to support retinal health in patients with diabetes using a blend of zeaxanthin, lutein, alpha-lipoic acid, and benfotiamine, which work to increase macular pigment optical density and mitigate the impact of oxidative stress and glycation. EyePromise EZTears is a dry eye supplement containing high-potency omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), evening primrose oil, and anti-inflammatory botanical extracts like turmeric and green tea to improve tear film stability and reduce inflammation of the ocular surface. This combination is typically recommended for diabetic patients experiencing symptoms of dry eye or those at risk for diabetic retinopathy.
