faldaprevir + peginterferon alfa-2b + ribavirin is a triple drug combination for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, particularly genotype 1. Faldaprevir is a small-molecule NS3/4A protease inhibitor that blocks viral replication. Peginterferon alfa-2b is a pegylated form of interferon alpha-2b, functioning as an immunomodulator to boost host antiviral responses.
