FATE-NK100 + trastuzumab is an investigational combination immunotherapy comprised of FATE-NK100, a first-in-class, allogeneic donor-derived adaptive memory natural killer (NK) cell therapy, and trastuzumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). The combination is designed to enhance antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) by administering activated donor-derived NK cells, which work synergistically with trastuzumab to selectively recognize and kill HER2-positive tumor cells. FATE-NK100 is produced from healthy allogeneic donors, activated ex vivo to generate a subset of adaptive memory NK cells, and is intended to restore or boost innate immune function in patients with cancer. The combination is under clinical investigation for advanced HER2-positive solid tumors, including breast and gastric cancer. The approach aims to improve clinical responses in patients who have failed prior monoclonal antibody therapies[1][2][3][4].
