**favezelimab + vibostolimab** is an investigational combination therapy comprising two monoclonal antibodies: favezelimab (an anti-LAG-3 antibody) and vibostolimab (an anti-TIGIT antibody). The combination was developed for use as an immunotherapy in cancer, aiming to enhance immune responses against tumors by blocking inhibitory immune checkpoints. Both antibodies target distinct checkpoint proteins (LAG-3 and TIGIT), which suppress anti-tumor T cell activity. By inhibiting these proteins, the drugs are designed to improve the immune system's ability to detect and destroy cancer cells. Development was led by Merck for several cancer indications, but has been discontinued following multiple phase 3 clinical trial failures in non-small cell lung cancer and lymphoma[1][3][5][6][7].
