Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Feladilimab + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy consisting of feladilimab, a humanized ICOS agonist immunoglobulin G4 monoclonal antibody, and pembrolizumab, a PD-1 inhibitor. Feladilimab targets ICOS-expressing CD4+ and CD8+ effector T cells to enhance T-cell function and promote antitumor responses without depleting ICOS-expressing cells. Pembrolizumab blocks the PD-1 receptor on lymphocytes, preventing cancer cells from deactivating the immune response. The combination was designed to potentially provide greater antitumor activity than either agent alone by simultaneously stimulating T cells and removing inhibitory signals.
