PDGFRB is highly expressed on activated myofibroblasts, the primary cells responsible for excessive extracellular matrix production in fibrotic tissues. By conjugating a therapeutic small molecule payload to a PDGFRB-specific Fibrobody, the drug aims to selectively deliver the treatment to fibrotic liver tissue, thereby increasing local efficacy while minimizing systemic side effects.
