This is a combination of three recombinant granulocyte colony-stimulating factors (G-CSFs): filgrastim, lenograstim, and pegfilgrastim. All three are biologic drugs that stimulate the bone marrow to produce more neutrophils, thereby reducing the risk and duration of neutropenia (low white blood cell count) following chemotherapy or stem cell transplantation. - **Filgrastim** is a non-glycosylated recombinant human G-CSF produced in E. coli, used for short-term stimulation of neutrophil production[5][3]. - **Lenograstim** is a glycosylated recombinant G-CSF derived from hamster ovary cells; it may be more stable and active than filgrastim[3][1]. - **Pegfilgrastim** is a long-acting form created by attaching polyethylene glycol to filgrastim, resulting in slower clearance and less frequent dosing compared to standard filgrastim[3][1]. All three agents act by binding to the G-CSF receptor on hematopoietic cells in the bone marrow, stimulating proliferation and differentiation into mature neutrophils. They are primarily indicated for prevention or treatment of chemotherapy-induced neutropenia, mobilization of hematopoietic progenitor cells for stem cell transplantation, and management of severe chronic neutropenia disorders[5][2][1].
