Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination investigational therapeutic cancer vaccine comprised of four components: **fimaporfin**, **poly-ICLC**, **HPV E7 peptides**, and **keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH)**. - **Fimaporfin** is a photosensitizer used to induce immunogenic cell death via photochemical internalization, intended to enhance antigen uptake by antigen-presenting cells. - **Poly-ICLC** (polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid stabilized with poly-L-lysine and carboxymethylcellulose) is a synthetic double-stranded RNA acting as a toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3) agonist, which acts as an innate immune adjuvant, stimulating type I interferon responses and dendritic cell maturation. - **HPV E7 peptides** are synthetic peptides derived from the E7 oncoprotein of human papillomavirus (HPV), a tumor-associated antigen expressed in HPV-associated malignancies. These peptides serve as the primary antigenic target for T cell priming and anti-tumor response. - **KLH** is a highly immunogenic carrier protein and vaccine adjuvant, used to augment immune responses and as an immunological tracker for vaccine responses. The combination is designed to stimulate both cellular and humoral immune responses against HPV E7-expressing tumor cells, leveraging multiple immune activation mechanisms. Its primary indication is for immunotherapy of HPV-associated cancers. This combination does not have a registered brand name or code name found in current literature.
