Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Fimasartan + amlodipine + rosuvastatin** is an oral fixed-dose combination of three small molecules marketed by Boryung as **Dukaro** for patients who require both antihypertensive therapy with fimasartan/amlodipine and lipid lowering with rosuvastatin. Fimasartan selectively antagonizes the angiotensin II type 1 receptor, amlodipine inhibits calcium influx through L-type calcium channels, and rosuvastatin competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase. The combination addresses essential hypertension and dyslipidemia in a single film-coated tablet; Boryung lists 30/5/5 mg, 30/5/10 mg, 60/5/5 mg, and 60/5/10 mg strength combinations. A randomized Phase III study evaluated the triple regimen in patients with essential hypertension and dyslipidemia inadequately controlled with fimasartan monotherapy.
