This combination is a complex myeloablative conditioning (MAC) regimen utilized in the context of haploidentical-cord blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (haplo-cord HSCT). The protocol employs a sequential infusion strategy where cyclophosphamide is administered within a critical window to balance myeloablative intensity and immunomodulation, facilitating the engraftment of both haploidentical stem cells and umbilical cord blood.
