Drug intelligence / Profile preview
氟[18F]思睿肽 (Fluorine[18F] Sirupeptide) is a radiolabeled peptide-based PET imaging agent developed by LNC Pharma, a subsidiary of Yantai Dongcheng Pharmaceutical. The agent specifically targets Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP), a cell-surface protease that is highly overexpressed on tumor-associated fibroblasts (TAFs) in the stroma of over 90% of epithelial cancers, while showing minimal expression in normal adult tissues. By binding to FAP with high affinity, this fluorine-18 labeled tracer enables high-contrast Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging of the tumor microenvironment, potentially offering superior sensitivity for the detection and staging of various solid tumors compared to traditional 18F-FDG PET. It is currently undergoing Phase 3 clinical trials in China for the diagnosis and staging of multiple solid malignancies, including gastric, colorectal, and nasopharyngeal cancers.
