Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fm + SH + AS is an investigational ophthalmic combination regimen consisting of 0.02% fluorometholone, sodium hyaluronate, and autologous serum. This triple-therapy approach is designed to treat severe dry eye disease, particularly in patients with Sjögren's syndrome. Fluorometholone, a corticosteroid, addresses ocular surface inflammation; sodium hyaluronate acts as a lubricant and viscoelastic agent to improve tear film stability; and autologous serum provides essential growth factors, vitamins, and cytokines to promote corneal epithelial repair and ocular surface health. The regimen was studied in clinical trials (e.g., NCT02147509) led by investigator Jinyang Li, often in conjunction with therapeutic bandage contact lenses.
