Overview

A nonsteroidal antiandrogen combination consisting of **flutamide**, **bicalutamide**, and **nilutamide**. These agents act as antagonists of the androgen receptor and are used primarily in the management of prostate cancer. Each drug binds the androgen receptor and inhibits the action of endogenous androgens such as testosterone, thereby suppressing the growth of androgen-dependent prostate cancer cells. This combination would block androgen signaling through three structurally distinct antiandrogens, all with similar mechanisms but differing pharmacokinetics and toxicity profiles. There is currently no standard or approved combination product containing all three agents; they are generally used individually or sequentially as part of antiandrogen therapy protocols.
