Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**DARI** is Teva's investigational fixed-dose, dual-action asthma rescue inhaler containing the inhaled corticosteroid fluticasone propionate and the short-acting beta2-adrenergic agonist albuterol sulfate. Delivered through Teva's breath-activated multidose dry-powder inhaler, it is intended to provide rapid bronchodilation from albuterol while concurrently treating airway inflammation through glucocorticoid-receptor activation by fluticasone. The program is being developed for reduction and prevention of asthma exacerbations in adult and pediatric populations, with Launch Therapeutics managing clinical-trial execution while Teva retains manufacturing, U.S. regulatory, and commercialization responsibilities.
