Overview

This is a combination regimen of three hormonal agents commonly used in assisted reproductive technology (ART), notably in vitro fertilization (IVF) protocols. **Follitropin alfa** is a recombinant form of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which stimulates ovarian follicular growth. **Choriogonadotropin alfa** is a recombinant human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) used to induce final oocyte maturation. A **gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist** (GnRH antagonist) prevents premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surges during ovarian stimulation. The combination allows controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, followed by oocyte maturation, optimizing synchronization of ovulation and egg retrieval[1][3][6][7][8][9].
