Overview
QLM2010 + dexamethasone is a triple-combination antiemetic regimen investigated for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), particularly in patients receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC). QLM2010 is a fixed-dose combination developed by Qilu Pharmaceutical, consisting of fosnetupitant (a prodrug of the neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptor antagonist netupitant) and palonosetron (a second-generation 5-HT3 receptor antagonist). Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid, is administered alongside QLM2010 to provide synergistic protection against both acute and delayed phases of emesis. This regimen targets multiple signaling pathways in the central and peripheral nervous systems involved in the emetic reflex. It has been evaluated in Phase III clinical trials (e.g., NCT07081256) as an alternative to established triple-drug regimens like fosaprepitant, palonosetron, and dexamethasone.
