Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of fruquintinib and everolimus. Fruquintinib is a highly selective and potent oral inhibitor of VEGFR-1, -2 and -3, designed to improve kinase selectivity to minimize off-target toxicities, improve tolerability and provide more consistent target coverage. Everolimus is an mTOR inhibitor. While both drugs have been studied separately in renal cell carcinoma (RCC), there is limited information about their use as a specific combination therapy.
