fulvestrant + anlotinib

Fulvestrant + anlotinib is a combination therapy consisting of fulvestrant, a selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD), and anlotinib, a multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Fulvestrant works by binding to and degrading estrogen receptors, while anlotinib inhibits multiple targets including VEGFR2/3, FGFR1-4, PDGFR α/β, c-Kit, and Ret, primarily blocking tumor angiogenesis. This combination is being investigated for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR+), HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer, particularly in patients who have progressed after prior therapies. A phase II trial has shown promising efficacy with an acceptable safety profile for patients with metastatic breast cancer who had received prior treatment.
