Drug intelligence / Profile preview
furmonertinib + ARS043 is a combination therapy being developed by Elis Pharmaceutical Technology (Allist Pharmaceuticals) for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The regimen combines **furmonertinib** (also known as alflutinib or AST2818), a third-generation, irreversible oral epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), with **ARS043**, an immunotherapy agent targeting programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). Furmonertinib is designed to selectively inhibit both EGFR-sensitizing mutations and the T790M resistance mutation while sparing wild-type EGFR. ARS043 acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, blocking the interaction between PD-L1 on tumor cells and PD-1 on T-cells to restore anti-tumor immune responses. This combination aims to leverage the rapid tumor debulking of targeted therapy with the durable responses associated with immunotherapy.
