Overview

FUW-hgp100 + SVGmu is an **integration-deficient lentiviral vector (IDLV) vaccine** encoding the melanoma antigen human gp100 (hgp100), delivered with a modified Sindbis virus envelope glycoprotein (SVGmu) that specifically targets dendritic cell (DC) surface receptor DC-SIGN. The FUW-hgp100 construct utilizes a mutated HIV-1 integrase (D64V) to prevent vector genome integration, enhancing safety by limiting genomic incorporation. SVGmu pseudotyping enables **selective transduction of DCs**, facilitating antigen delivery and presentation. The platform induces strong antigen-specific CD8 T cell responses and antitumor immunity in preclinical models[1]. This system is developed primarily as a cancer vaccine candidate for melanoma immunotherapy.
