Overview

FZHFZY + urea is a combination treatment consisting of a Chinese herbal medicine formula (FZHFZY) used as a bath therapy alongside topical urea cream. FZHFZY contains multiple active compounds including paeonol and astilbin that have demonstrated efficacy in managing psoriasis. The formula works by regulating epidermal differentiation through inhibition of the Akt/mTORC1/S6K1 signaling pathway. Urea is a keratolytic agent that helps with debridement and promotion of normal healing of hyperkeratotic surface lesions. This combination is being studied for the treatment of mild-to-moderate psoriasis vulgaris.
