Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ga-68-NGUL + Lu-177-DGUL is a **combination of two radiopharmaceuticals** targeting prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA): **Ga-68-NGUL** is a PET imaging agent for the diagnosis of PSMA-expressing cancers, while **Lu-177-DGUL** is a therapeutic agent delivering beta radiation for targeted radioligand therapy. Both are based on Glu-Urea-Lys (GUL) derivatives—Ga-68-NGUL for imaging and Lu-177-DGUL for therapy—designed for sequential diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) use in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). Ga-68-NGUL allows precise PET-based localization of PSMA-positive lesions, and eligible patients identified by this scan may be treated with Lu-177-DGUL, which binds to PSMA and selectively irradiates cancer cells[1][2][3][7].
