GAIA-121-125 (B+) is a preclinical-stage allogeneic cell therapy candidate developed by GAIA BioMedicine. It utilizes the company's proprietary GAIA Antibody-Armed Approach (GAAAP) platform, which involves peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC)-derived natural killer (NK)-like cells armed with proprietary antibodies. This specific candidate targets tumor cells expressing a proprietary, undisclosed antigen referred to as 'antigen B+'. Unlike traditional CAR-T or CAR-NK therapies, the GAAAP platform does not require genetic modification of the cells, facilitating an 'off-the-shelf' therapeutic model. The therapy is administered intravenously for the treatment of B+ tumors.
