GAIA-121-125 (D+) is a preclinical-stage allogeneic cell therapy developed by GAIA BioMedicine. It utilizes the company's proprietary GAIA Antibody-Armed Allogeneic Platform (GAAAP), which involves arming peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC)-derived NK-like cells with specific antibodies. This particular variant targets an undisclosed proprietary tumor-associated antigen referred to as "Antigen D+". The therapy is designed for intravenous administration to treat tumors expressing this antigen. Unlike traditional CAR-NK therapies, the GAAAP platform enhances tumor targeting through antibody-arming of the NK-like cells without genetic modification, leveraging the innate cytotoxic potential of the cells directed by the specificity of the armed antibody.
