Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gallium (68Ga) relitegatide brexetan (also known as 68Ga-Trivehexin or RAD301) is an investigational, peptide-based diagnostic radiopharmaceutical designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It consists of the cyclic nonapeptide relitegatide, which selectively targets the cell-surface receptor αvβ6-integrin (an epithelial-specific integrin overexpressed in various cancers and fibrotic tissues), conjugated to the chelator brexetan and radiolabeled with the positron-emitting isotope gallium-68 (68Ga). Originally developed by TRIMT (which was acquired by ABX in 2026) and licensed to Radiopharm Theranostics, the tracer is being clinically evaluated for the detection, staging, and monitoring of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), and pulmonary fibrosis.
