Overview

GC201 + TIL is an investigational, autologous, in vitro expanded tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy in which TILs are genetically modified with either a PD-1 or TGF-beta signal switch receptor to improve their antitumor function. It is developed for the treatment of advanced gynecologic tumors. After lymphodepleting chemotherapy with fludarabine and cyclophosphamide, patients receive an intravenous infusion of 2×10^8 to 1×10^10 modified autologous TILs, designed to enhance immune cell-mediated tumor cell killing by altering key tumor immunosuppressive pathways such as TGF-beta. The product is under development by Shanghai Juncell Therapeutics and is currently in phase 1 clinical trials for oncology solid tumors (specifically advanced gynecologic tumors)[1][7].
