Overview

GEH200520 + GEH200521 is an investigational diagnostic agent combination developed for use in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. The combination consists of a non-radiolabelled protein component (GEH200520) and a radiolabelled version ([18F]GEH200521), which is composed of aluminium [18F] fluoride ([18F]AlF) chelated to the RESCA-VHH protein component. This agent specifically targets CD8, a marker expressed on CD8+ T cells—a subpopulation of white blood cells involved in immune responses. The primary indication under investigation is for imaging solid tumor malignancies and monitoring immune response before and after immunotherapy treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors. The mechanism enables visualization and quantification of CD8+ T cell infiltration in tumors using PET/CT scans, potentially aiding therapy decision-making in oncology[1][2][5].
