Oral rehydration solution is not an antineoplastic agent but is included in this regimen to prevent or treat dehydration caused by chemotherapy-induced side effects such as vomiting or diarrhea. The addition of oral rehydration solution aims to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance during intensive chemotherapy.
