Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gemox + PD-1 antibody is a combination immunochemotherapy regimen consisting of gemcitabine, oxaliplatin, and an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody. This combination leverages both cytotoxic chemotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibition to treat various advanced cancers. The chemotherapy component (Gemox) directly kills cancer cells while potentially enhancing tumor antigen presentation, while the PD-1 antibody blocks the PD-1/PD-L1 immune checkpoint pathway, restoring T-cell function and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses.
