Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This product is a multi-ingredient dietary supplement combining genistein, cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), and menaquinone-7 (vitamin K2-7) intended primarily to support bone health and mineralization. Genistein is an isoflavone that exerts estrogen receptor–mediated and cytokine-modulating effects, decreasing receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa B ligand (RANKL), increasing osteoprotegerin, and promoting osteoblast differentiation while inhibiting osteoclast activity, thereby reducing bone resorption and enhancing bone formation.[1] Cholecalciferol increases intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate and, together with genistein and other cofactors, contributes to improved bone mineral density in postmenopausal women.[1] Menaquinone-7 serves as a cofactor for gamma-glutamyl carboxylase, activating vitamin K–dependent proteins such as osteocalcin and matrix Gla protein, which promote calcium deposition in bone and limit ectopic vascular calcification, and it works synergistically with vitamin D3 to modulate osteocalcin, RANK, RANKL, and osteoprotegerin expression.[1][3]
