GFC + leukocyte exosomes is a combination biological product consisting of growth factor concentrate (GFC) and exosomes derived from leukocytes. Exosomes are nano-sized, membrane-bound extracellular vesicles secreted by cells, including immune cells such as leukocytes. These vesicles play key roles in intercellular communication, immunomodulation, tissue regeneration, and drug delivery due to their ability to carry proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids protected by a lipid bilayer[1][2][3]. Leukocyte-derived exosomes can influence immune responses through antigen presentation and modulation of T cell and B cell activity[4]. Growth factor concentrate typically contains a mixture of bioactive proteins that promote tissue repair and regeneration. The combination aims to leverage the regenerative properties of growth factors with the targeted delivery capabilities and immunomodulatory effects of leukocyte-derived exosomes for therapeutic applications.
