Overview

**GI-4000 + activated T cells** is an investigational combination immunotherapy evaluated in a registered Phase I/pilot study for locally advanced pancreatic cancer. It combines GI-4000, a matched therapeutic cancer-vaccine series comprising heat-inactivated recombinant *Saccharomyces cerevisiae* engineered to express mutant RAS proteins, with autologous activated T cells generated from apheresis-derived mononuclear cells and expanded ex vivo before reinfusion. GI-4000 is intended to prime mutant RAS-specific cytotoxic T-cell immunity, while adoptive transfer supplies activated T cells to support immune recovery and antitumor cellular immunity. The combination was studied alongside chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgical resection; the registered study was withdrawn. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT00837135))
