Overview

GI-4000 + bevacizumab is an investigational combination therapy for cancer, primarily studied in colorectal and pancreatic cancers. GI-4000 is a therapeutic cancer vaccine platform consisting of recombinant yeast expressing mutated RAS proteins, designed to elicit an immune response against tumors harboring specific KRAS mutations. Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), thereby blocking angiogenesis and tumor blood supply. The combination aims to leverage the immunogenic effects of the vaccine with the antiangiogenic properties of bevacizumab to improve antitumor efficacy[3][4][6].
