Overview
This discovery-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) is being developed through an exclusive option and license agreement between Gilead Sciences and Tubulis, announced in December 2024. The program targets a single, undisclosed solid tumor antigen and utilizes Tubulis' proprietary Tubutecan payload, which is a topoisomerase I inhibitor, and the Alco5 platform technology. The Alco5 platform is designed to provide superior biophysical properties and stability, aiming to address common ADC challenges such as durability and off-target toxicity. Under the terms of the collaboration, Tubulis is responsible for early-stage research and development, while Gilead maintains the option to exclusively license the program for subsequent clinical development and commercialization.
