Overview
**ginisortamab + mFOLFOX6** is an investigational combination therapy where ginisortamab, a monoclonal antibody targeting CD37, is administered together with the standard chemotherapy regimen known as mFOLFOX6. mFOLFOX6 is a commonly used chemotherapy protocol that includes oxaliplatin, fluorouracil (5-FU), and leucovorin (folinic acid) and is mainly used in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers, such as colorectal and gastric adenocarcinoma. Ginisortamab, developed as a targeted immunotherapy, is designed to bind to CD37, a tetraspanin expressed on B cells and often certain malignant cells, potentially enhancing antitumor immune effects when used in combination with cytotoxic chemotherapy. This combination aims to leverage both direct cytotoxic (chemotherapy) and immune-targeted mechanisms for improved clinical efficacy.
