Overview

This is a combination of three different insulin analogs used in the management of diabetes mellitus. Insulin glargine is a long-acting basal insulin that provides steady, prolonged glucose-lowering activity. Insulin aspart and insulin lispro are both rapid-acting insulins designed to control blood glucose spikes around meals. Together, this combination would theoretically provide both basal (background) and prandial (mealtime) glycemic control by mimicking physiological insulin secretion patterns. Each component acts as an agonist at the insulin receptor, promoting cellular uptake of glucose and reducing blood sugar levels[2][5][7]. There is no evidence that such a triple combination product (glargine + aspart + lispro) exists commercially; each component is available individually or in dual combinations with other insulins or agents.
