Overview

A combination of glimepiride, an antidiabetic medication from the sulfonylurea class, and curcumin, a natural compound found in turmeric. Laboratory studies have shown that co-administration of curcumin and glimepiride resulted in a 57.5% reduction in blood glucose levels after 28 days compared to 51.2% with glimepiride alone and 46.8% with curcumin alone in diabetic rats, suggesting a synergistic effect. This combination may offer improved glycemic control and potential benefits in preventing diabetes-related complications.
