Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Glizigen + Ocoxin-Viusid is a combination of two nutritional supplements developed by Catalysis SL for the treatment of human papillomavirus (HPV)-related conditions. Glizigen contains glycyrrhizinic acid, which provides direct antiviral activity against HPV. Ocoxin-Viusid (often referred to as Viusid) is an oral immunostimulant containing antioxidants and antiviral agents designed to enhance the host's immune response. This dual approach aims to reduce viral load and promote the regression of lesions such as high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN II/III) and external anogenital warts. The combination has been extensively studied in clinical trials, particularly in Cuba, where it has demonstrated significant efficacy in eliminating HPV infections and preventing recurrence.
