Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Giamaks Complex is a combination chondroprotective product developed by Pharmex Group in collaboration with Omnifarm. It is formulated with three primary active ingredients: glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulfate, and sodium hyaluronate. The product is designed to slow the degeneration of cartilage and bone tissue in patients suffering from degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the musculoskeletal system, such as osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis. Glucosamine and chondroitin serve as essential substrates for the biosynthesis of the cartilage matrix and help inhibit catabolic enzymes that degrade joint tissues. Sodium hyaluronate acts to restore the viscoelastic properties of the synovial fluid, thereby improving joint lubrication and shock absorption. In Ukraine, where it was developed, Giamaks Complex is marketed as a dietary supplement intended for therapeutic support of joint health.
