Glycated chitosan + cyclophosphamide is an experimental combination therapy comprising two active components. **Cyclophosphamide** is a small molecule alkylating agent approved for the treatment of various cancers and autoimmune diseases; it acts primarily via DNA crosslinking, resulting in apoptosis and immunosuppression[1][4][6]. **Glycated chitosan** is a water-soluble derivative of chitosan, studied as an immunoadjuvant; it stimulates immune responses, primarily by activating cytokine production and enhancing T-cell activity. Glycated chitosan has been investigated as an adjunct to therapies such as photodynamic therapy (PDT) to potentiate antitumor immune responses[5]. The combination is being explored in experimental settings for enhanced cancer immunotherapy, where glycated chitosan may augment the tumor immune response initiated by cyclophosphamide-induced tumor cell death.
