GM-CSF + sintilimab is a combination therapy that pairs granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) with sintilimab, an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody. This combination has been investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The mechanism of action involves sintilimab blocking the PD-1 pathway to enhance T-cell immune responses against tumor cells, while GM-CSF stimulates the production and function of granulocytes and macrophages, potentially enhancing antitumor immune responses. In clinical trials, this combination has often been used with stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) as a triple therapy approach.
