GM-CSF + TG02 is an investigational combination therapy consisting of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and the cancer vaccine TG02. GM-CSF is a cytokine that stimulates the production and activation of myeloid lineage cells, including neutrophils, monocytes/macrophages, and dendritic cells. It acts as an immunostimulant to enhance immune responses against tumors[6][7][8]. TG02 is a second-generation RAS neo-antigen peptide vaccine designed to induce immune responses specifically against tumor cells harboring RAS mutations. The combination aims to boost anti-tumor immunity by using GM-CSF as an adjuvant to enhance the immunogenicity of the peptide vaccine[3]. This combination has been studied in early-phase clinical trials for patients with locally advanced or recurrent colorectal cancer with KRAS mutations who are scheduled for surgery. The primary objectives are safety assessment and evaluation of anti-tumor immune activation[1][2][3].
