Overview

This is an investigational combination immunotherapy composed of three components: - **GM-CSF DNA** (Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor DNA): a plasmid encoding human GM-CSF used as a molecular adjuvant to enhance immune responses by stimulating dendritic cell proliferation and maturation as well as B and T lymphocyte expansion. - **NSC 683472 gp100**: a synthetic peptide vaccine targeting the melanoma-associated antigen gp100. - **NSC 699048 Tyrosinase**: a synthetic peptide vaccine targeting the melanoma-associated antigen tyrosinase. The combination is designed to induce robust anti-tumor immune responses in patients with advanced melanoma by presenting tumor antigens (gp100 and tyrosinase) to the immune system while enhancing antigen presentation and immune activation via GM-CSF. The approach leverages both direct vaccination against tumor antigens and cytokine-mediated immunostimulation[1][2].
