Overview

GNOS-PV02 + INO-9012 is an investigational combination immunotherapy comprising a personalized neoantigen DNA vaccine and a DNA plasmid encoding Interleukin-12 (IL-12). Developed by Geneos Therapeutics, GNOS-PV02 is a patient-specific vaccine designed to encode unique neoantigens identified from a patient's tumor through genomic sequencing. INO-9012, originally developed by Inovio Pharmaceuticals, is a DNA-based cytokine adjuvant that expresses IL-12 to enhance the magnitude and quality of the T-cell response. The combination is administered via intradermal injection followed by electroporation using a specialized device to ensure efficient cellular uptake of the DNA plasmids. It is primarily being evaluated as an adjuvant treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) to reduce the risk of recurrence following surgical resection.
