Overview

A combination therapy consisting of a GnRH antagonist and cabergoline used primarily for the prevention of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) in patients undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (ART). - **GnRH antagonist**: Works by competitively binding to GnRH receptors, causing immediate suppression of gonadotropin secretion and preventing LH surge. - **Cabergoline**: A dopamine agonist that reduces vascular permeability by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This combination has been shown to be more effective in preventing OHSS than cabergoline alone, particularly in high-risk patients such as those with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
