Overview

A combination regimen composed of **golvatinib**, **cisplatin**, and **capecitabine** used for investigational treatment of advanced solid tumors. Golvatinib is a small molecule, orally available, ATP-competitive inhibitor that targets c-Met (hepatocyte growth factor receptor), multiple Eph receptors, c-Kit, and Ron, disrupting pathways involved in tumor cell proliferation, migration, angiogenesis, and metastatic potential[1][3]. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent inducing DNA crosslinks, resulting in apoptosis. Capecitabine is an oral prodrug that is converted to 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) in the body, inhibiting thymidylate synthase and disrupting DNA synthesis in proliferating tumor cells. This combination is being evaluated in clinical research for antitumor activity in solid tumors, though clinical use is investigational.
