Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Luminal type-1 is a combination regimen consisting of goserelin, docetaxel, and prednisone. It is evaluated in the Phase 2 STAMP clinical trial (NCT03696186), sponsored by the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University, which investigates molecular subtype-guided therapy in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). In this trial, patients are classified into molecular subtypes (luminal, neuroendocrine, or atypical) based on immunohistochemical markers. Patients with the luminal phenotype randomized to the standard treatment arm receive the "Luminal type-1" regimen, which consists of goserelin (3.75 mg once every 4 weeks), docetaxel (75 mg/m2 on day 1 every 3 weeks), and prednisone (5 mg twice daily).
