Overview

gpASIT+ is a grass pollen-derived allergy immunotherapeutic developed for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. It consists of highly purified peptides (hydrolysate) obtained from the allergens of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne). The therapy is designed as a subcutaneous or oral allergen-specific immunotherapy, aiming to induce immune tolerance and reduce allergic symptoms by exposing patients to small, controlled doses of allergenic peptides. Clinical studies have demonstrated that short-course administration can significantly reduce conjunctival provocation test reactivity and increase protective specific antibodies in patients with grass pollen-induced allergies. The product was originally developed by ASIT Biotech and later associated with DMS Imaging[1][3][4][5].
